    Two-phonon γ\gamma-vibrational states in rotating triaxial odd-AA nuclei

    Distribution of the two phonon γ\gamma vibrational collectivity in the rotating triaxial odd-AA nucleus, 103^{103}Nb, that is one of the three nuclides for which experimental data were reported recently, is calculated in the framework of the particle vibration coupling model based on the cranked shell model plus random phase approximation. This framework was previously utilized for analyses of the zero and one phonon bands in other mass region and is applied to the two phonon band for the first time. In the present calculation, three sequences of two phonon bands share collectivity almost equally at finite rotation whereas the K=Ω+4K=\Omega+4 state is the purest at zero rotation.Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures, accepted for publication in Physical Review

    Wedge locality and asymptotic commutativity

    In this paper, we study twist deformed quantum field theories obtained by combining the Wightman axiomatic approach with the idea of spacetime noncommutativity. We prove that the deformed fields with deformation parameters of opposite sign satisfy the condition of mutual asymptotic commutativity, which was used earlier in nonlocal quantum field theory as a substitute for relative locality. We also present an improved proof of the wedge localization property discovered for the deformed fields by Grosse and Lechner, and we show that the deformation leaves the asymptotic behavior of the vacuum expectation values in spacelike directions substantially unchanged.Comment: LaTeX, 23 pages; typos corrected, an explanatory example added, matches the published versio

    Interacting Wess-Zumino-Novikov-Witten Models

    We study the system of two WZNW models coupled to each other via the current-current interaction. The system is proven to possess the strong/weak coupling duality symmetry. The strong coupling phase of this theory is discussed in detail. It is shown that in this phase the interacting WZNW models approach non-trivial conformal points along the renormalization group flow.
